Kobina de Graft - Johnson is a Ghanaian filmmaker and the Founder of Anibok Studios, a creative house dedicated to elevating Ghanaian storytelling on the global stage. Born in Tema with roots in Cape Coast, Kobina began his visual journey through photography before transitioning into filmmaking, a leap fueled by purpose, resilience, and the refusal to settle.
His work has earned international recognition, including winning Best TV/Web Series at the London Pan African Film Festival (2023) and receiving the highly competitive CRNY Grant for creative excellence. Kobina has created campaigns and visual work for brands such as Vogue España, BET, Brussels Airlines, BronxNet Television, and Peter N. Davis Law & Associates, building a reputation for premium, story-driven content.
He is the director of the feature film KING OF TƐMA, a gritty crime-drama grounded in Ghanaian culture and shot entirely on Ghanaian soil. Kobina's mission is to help usher in a new era of African storytelling, one rooted in authenticity, powered by community, and designed for global impact.
